Safety and moderation standards for MyINC Social: reporting flow, enforcement actions, and zero-tolerance items
Updated: February 23, 2026 Topic: Safety, Moderation, Reporting Audience: Members & Reviewers

A community platform is only as strong as its safety standards. MyINC Social uses a combination of controlled access (approval-gated accounts), clear community rules, and consistent moderation to keep members protected.

1) Our safety principles

These principles guide every moderation decision. They are designed to be predictable and easy to understand.

Safety first: urgent risk gets priority Consistency: similar cases, similar outcomes Proportionality: action matches severity Context matters: review full conversation Accountability: actions are logged
Goal: keep the community respectful, reduce abuse and spam, and protect members—especially from impersonation, harassment, and harmful content.

2) Reporting flow (step-by-step)

Reporting is the fastest way to flag content or behavior that may violate our standards. Reports can be made on posts, comments, messages, or profiles.

  1. 1 Report the content

Tap or click the report option on a post, comment, message, or profile. Choose the reason that best matches the issue.

  2. 2 Add optional details

Add a short description and (where applicable) relevant context. This helps reduce false positives and speeds up review.

  3. 3 Submit

Your report enters a review queue. High-risk items are prioritized for faster response.

  4. 4 Moderator review

We review the content, surrounding context, and any relevant account history. We then decide whether action is required.

  5. 5 Enforcement decision

If a violation is confirmed, we apply the appropriate enforcement action (warning, removal, restrictions, suspension, etc.).

3) How reports are reviewed

Not all reports carry the same risk. We triage reports to prioritize urgent safety concerns first.

Priority level High (urgent risk), Medium (likely violation), Low (needs more context)
What we evaluate Severity, credibility, context, repetition patterns, and whether the issue targets a person or group.
Why context matters We review surrounding messages or thread context to avoid incorrect enforcement based on isolated screenshots or partial quotes.
Important: submitting false reports to harass others can lead to enforcement on the reporting account.

4) Enforcement actions

Enforcement is designed to be proportional. We may apply one or more actions depending on severity and repetition.

Content removal We remove posts/comments/messages that violate safety standards.
Warnings We may issue a warning for lower-severity or first-time violations.
Temporary restrictions Limits on posting, commenting, messaging, or reactions for a fixed period.
Feature limits Reduced reach or limitations on certain features if misuse is detected.
Suspension Account is temporarily blocked from access while we investigate or after severe violations.
Permanent removal Used for repeated abuse or zero-tolerance violations.

Moderation decisions consider both the immediate content and the broader behavioral pattern. Repeated violations result in stronger enforcement.

5) Zero-tolerance items

Some content categories are never allowed. These are handled with maximum urgency and may result in immediate account action.

  • Threats of violence or credible harm against any person or group.
  • Child sexual exploitation material (any depiction, request, or facilitation).
  • Doxxing or sharing private personal data (addresses, phone numbers, IDs) to harass or intimidate.
  • Targeted harassment, hate-based abuse, or dehumanizing attacks aimed at individuals or groups.
  • Extortion, blackmail, or coercion including threats to release private information.
  • Instructions to commit wrongdoing that enable real-world harm or criminal activity.
  • Impersonation intended to deceive, defraud, or cause harm.
  • Sexual content involving minors (including “suggestive” content) — strictly prohibited.
Zero-tolerance means: we can remove content immediately and apply account action without repeated warnings.

6) Appeals & corrections

We aim to be accurate. If you believe an enforcement action was incorrect, you can request a review.

  • Use the Contact page to request an appeal.
  • Provide the relevant link(s), screenshots, and any context that may have been missed.
  • We review the decision and correct mistakes where needed.

7) Transparency & accountability

Trust requires clear rules and consistent enforcement. MyINC Social supports accountability by:

  • Keeping moderation standards public and easy to understand.
  • Logging enforcement actions for audit and consistency checks.
  • Using controlled approvals to prevent mass spam account entry.
  • Maintaining public policy pages for Privacy and Terms.

8) FAQ

Will the person I reported see who reported them?

Reports are handled privately. We do not publish reporter identity to the reported party in normal workflow.

How fast are reports handled?

Timing depends on severity and queue volume. High-risk safety issues are prioritized for the fastest review.

Can I report messages?

Yes. Messages can be reported if they contain harassment, threats, impersonation, or other violations.

Do you remove accounts for repeated issues?

Yes. Repeated violations increase enforcement severity and may result in suspension or permanent removal.

Summary

MyINC Social safety and moderation standards focus on clear rules, a straightforward reporting flow, proportional enforcement, and strict zero-tolerance for harmful content. This combination keeps the platform safe and trustworthy for members.
