Quick navigation
1) Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how MyINC Social collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects information when you use our website, mobile application, and related features, including account registration, approval flows, profile features, posts, groups, messaging, notifications, moderation, and support.

By using MyINC Social, you acknowledge that we may process information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2) What we collect

The data we collect depends on how you use MyINC Social. We may collect the following categories of information:

Account and profile information

  • Name, username, email address, password credentials managed through our authentication systems, and other information you submit to create or manage an account.
  • Profile details you choose to add, such as avatar, bio, organization or community details, location, and other optional profile fields.
  • Application, onboarding, approval, congregation, district, city, or community-related information where required for access control, approval, or moderation purposes.

Content and communications

  • Posts, comments, reactions, likes, shares, messages, notifications, uploads, and other content you create or submit.
  • Photos, videos, attachments, captions, and related metadata you choose to upload.
  • Reports, appeals, support requests, and communications you send to us.

Device, usage, and security information

  • Log data such as IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, timestamps, browser type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, and crash or performance data.
  • Authentication, abuse-prevention, and security records used to detect spam, fraud, unauthorized access, or policy violations.
  • Usage information such as pages viewed, features used, interactions, and basic diagnostic events needed to operate and improve the service.

Because MyINC Social is a community-focused service, some profile fields, group participation, posts, or other content you choose to submit may reveal community, religious, or affiliation-related information. You are responsible for the information you choose to provide and publish.

3) How we use information
  • Provide and maintain the service: create accounts, authenticate users, display profiles, deliver posts, groups, messaging, and notifications.
  • Approval and moderation: review eligibility, manage access controls, enforce policies, investigate abuse, and respond to reports.
  • Security and integrity: detect spam, fraud, account compromise, suspicious activity, and platform misuse.
  • Service improvement: troubleshoot bugs, improve performance, analyze stability, and enhance product functionality.
  • Communication: send account, security, support, moderation, and service-related notices.
  • Legal compliance: comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and enforce our terms and policies.
4) Public and private content

MyINC Social includes profile, community, and social features. Information you choose to make public, share to a group, send in messages, or otherwise publish through the service may be visible to other users according to the audience or access setting of that feature.

  • Public profile or public content: may be visible to other users or visitors depending on your settings and the product feature involved.
  • Group content: may be visible to members, administrators, moderators, or other authorized users of that group.
  • Private messages: are intended for participants and may also be accessed by service providers acting on our behalf, or reviewed where necessary for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or system integrity.

Do not post or send information you do not want others to access, copy, or retain.

5) When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information only in the following situations:

  • With your chosen audience: when you publish content, interact with others, or use social features designed for sharing.
  • With service providers: vendors that help us host, store, secure, deliver, analyze, or support the service.
  • For legal or safety reasons: if required by law, regulation, court order, lawful process, or where reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or our rights.
  • For enforcement: where needed to investigate abuse, fraud, security incidents, or violations of our policies or terms.
  • In a business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or asset sale, subject to applicable law.
6) Service providers and processors

We use third-party providers to help operate MyINC Social. These providers may process personal information on our behalf for purposes such as:

  • hosting, databases, cloud storage, backups, and content delivery;
  • authentication, account management, and security monitoring;
  • email delivery, notifications, support, and operational communications;
  • analytics, diagnostics, crash monitoring, abuse prevention, and infrastructure maintenance.

We require processors to use information only as necessary to provide services to us, subject to appropriate contractual, security, and confidentiality obligations.

7) International transfers

Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your own, including where our service providers or infrastructure are located. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred, stored, and processed outside your jurisdiction subject to applicable law and reasonable safeguards.

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These may include encryption in transit, access controls, activity logging, moderation controls, monitoring, and abuse-prevention systems.

No method of transmission, storage, or security control is perfect. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, using a strong password, and protecting your own device and account access.

9) Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business and safety needs.

  • Account information: retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward where necessary for security, fraud prevention, backup integrity, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
  • User content: retained until you delete it, your account is deleted, or it is removed under our rules, plus any limited retention needed for backups, legal holds, moderation records, or enforcement.
  • Logs and diagnostics: retained for limited periods depending on operational, security, and compliance needs.
10) Account deletion and data deletion
How to request deletion

If you created a MyINC Social account and want it deleted, you may request deletion by emailing legal@myincsocial.com from the email address connected to your account with the subject line MyINC Social Account Deletion Request.

If you delete your account, some content or records may remain visible in limited form where necessary for system integrity, moderation history, legal compliance, or because content has been shared with others and cannot be fully recalled immediately from backups or recipient devices.

11) Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

12) Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, session storage, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the service, measure performance, prevent abuse, and support core website and app functionality.

Some technologies are essential to operate the service. Disabling them may break login, security features, or other core functions. Where required by law, we may request consent before using non-essential technologies.

13) Advertising and Google services

Public pages of MyINC Social may display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, limit fraud, and personalize or contextualize ads based on your visits to this website or other websites.

  • Google’s advertising cookies may be used on public pages where ads are shown.

  • You can manage ad personalization through Google Ads Settings, subject to availability and your browser or device settings.

If a future version of the app displays ads or uses additional advertising partners, this policy may be updated to reflect those practices.

14) Children

MyINC Social is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for anyone under the minimum age permitted by applicable law. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child in violation of applicable law, we may remove the information and take appropriate account action.
